Join Us for the 2026 Summer Surf Class Kickoff

9am - 2pm

We are thrilled to welcome you, alongside our partners and vendors, to the official kickoff of our 2026 summer surf season. This year, we are proud to honor the legacy of legendary surfer Nick Gabaldon.

Each summer, we begin the season alongside our lead instructors by commemorating those who have passed and celebrating the trailblazers who have made a lasting impact on the Black surf community.

Event Highlights:

• What: A free surf class and a commemorative paddle out.
  9am - 2pm

• When: June 6th

• Where: Santa Monica Beach, Tower 20.

• Who: Everyone! All are welcome to join the surf class or simply hang out at the beach with the community.

How to Participate:

• To Surf: The class is completely free, but registration is required. Please sign up in advance to secure your spot.

• To Teach: Want to join our team of lead instructors? Please fill out the dedicated instructor sign-up form.
